Friday Five + Little Update
I'm back after a several month hiatus. And by back, I mean back to the internet as a whole. I've done no real writing, art, tumblr scrolling, dreamwidth activities, not even working on my website. 2024 hit hard and kept me busy for the first 2/3 of the year. I'm hoping to get back into writing and graphics-making over the next few months, and get active in fandom spaces again.
While catching up on stuff I've missed, I found this set of Friday Five questions that seems fitting for a post-hiatus update:
1. Have you gotten everything done that you had hoped to do during the first half of 2024?
Not even close. Had to put all my personal goals on hold while dealing with work and life stress. But I'm working on getting back on track now!
2. Did anything exciting or unexpected happen to you during the first half of 2024?
A couple, actually. I got a new roommate, two pet cats, and took my first trip to Branson (which was my childhood dream vacation)
3. What big plans do you have for the second half of 2024?
Writing! Fanvids! Graphics! And, of course, getting my website into a bit more presentable condition.
4. Have you taken, or are you planning, a vacation this year?
I took a weekend trip to Branson, Missouri. It's been my dream since I was very young to visit that town and now, at almost thirty, this was my first time actually seeing it. I plan to take a longer trip next month to see more of it.
5. Have you ever wanted to be one of the people writing and posting these questions?
I've considered it before, but tbh I barely have enough free time lately for my own projects, let alone taking on outside/community as well lol. Hopefully next year I'll have more time to be active in the wider DW community.
