Snippet: Shatterproof [Psych]

"Shatterproof" is a fic I started writing back in late 2019 or early 2020. It's a Psych fanfic that deals with the aftermath of the episode "Mr Yin Presents" and tackles Shawn's bad habit of repressing trauma. It was my attempt at incorporating psychological horror themes into a story that takes place in a more real-world setting (since I usually only write scifi and superhero stuff). Anyway, this little snippet is a scene that I wrote for the 2020 Whumptober challenge on Tumblr and I want to move it here for safekeeping. I do want to sit down someday and write this out as a full fic, but that's after I finish some of my other WIPs first.
