WIP Update
Apr. 8th, 2023 11:00 amWIP Update: The Chess Master
Thanks to a kind commenter on AO3, I was recently reminded that I still need to get to work editing/revising part one of The Chess Master so I can get the rest of the fic posted to AO3. I've decided to make the chapters here on dreamwidth private for now since I think I'd like to update those with the revised version as well.
Anyway, update time! The first three chapters are completely done. Fourth and fifth chapters are like 80% done. The rest is still very much a work in progress, but I consider that a pretty good start. I've made it one of my writing goals for 2023 to get it completely finished before the end of the year. Hopefully, though, I'll actually have it done by the end of the summer. Then I can get started posting part two in time for the 2023 Whumptober challenge! I think that'd be a fitting time to start posting it since I started part one for the 2020 challenge.
So, yeah, just wanted to celebrate what feels like a good start to this project. Hopefully I'll have more good news to report soon. <3
