For the Snowflake Challenge's final day. This one looked very fun and I thought it'd be a great chance to look back on 2023 and see what I might like to focus on more in 2024.

(Yes, I changed the wording of this question. A lot of what I do to participate in fandom doesn't allow for feedback in any measurable way.)
1. Built my own website for my fics and fandom stuff
2. Attended a lot of cons! Got to meet so many wonderful fandom creators there and brought home plenty of fanmade things to add to my collection.
3. Started building a fansite for The Librarian fandom. It is far from done, but I'm still proud of how it's turning out so far.
4. Wrote several fics for tiny/rare fandoms <3
5. Worked on improving my fanvid editing skills and created three new fanvids

In 2023, you discovered:
That I felt happier participating in fandom after moving away from the consolidated and fast-paced fandom spaces such as twitter and tumblr. To my surprise, I've found I genuinely enjoy the quieter and slower feel to older and indie fandom spaces such as Dreamwidth, forums, fanmade sites, small fic archives, etc.

I just started looking through your fansite for The Librarians. I just started getting into the show this past year, after years of ignoring its existence for no good reason that I can think of. I love Noah Wiley.

I love your rewording of the Top Five Fandom Contributions section of the meme to make it work for you. It's interesting to me how differently people interpreted that section. Some members took it literally, even though I had dropped the enumerative wording from the original challenge from years past. They listed the fic or art or whathaveyou that garnered the most likes, kudos and/or comments in order. On the other hand, quite a few people interpreted it to be asking what were their Top Five Most Appreciated Contributions that other people had made/contributed to fandom.

Thank you! 2023 was my year for discovering irl fandom spaces, so I had to give a shoutout to my favorite in that category too lol.

Oh, yay! I definitely highly recommend the Librarians show. I personally don't like it as much as the movies (I wasn't a fan of them dropping the treasure hunting adventure tone of the movies) but it's still so much fun and campy in the best possible ways. Thank you for checking out my Librarian fansite too! It's obviously only half done, but I'm so proud of it. (also, I only just now realized the link is broken, sorry about that)

And I have to admit I didn't actually think about the other interpretation of that prompt, but now realize it should have been obvious.😅 I think you worded it fine, I'm just way too literal in how I read things sometimes.

Fandom wrapped was my favorite challenge this year. Thank you for the very fun prompts to answer!

I mentioned in earlier snowflake post that I missed fansites and so I love that you're making a website including that great Librarians fanpage!

Thank you!! And same, I really miss fansites and fandom-specific spaces (like the old forums and smaller fic archives). With a lot of people mentioning lately how they're feeling worn out from twitter and tumblr, I'm hoping maybe there will be a bit of a resurgence of that.
