Clark glanced up at the sound of his wife's footsteps entering the room. She was always a late sleeper on their rare days off. He chuckled softly as he caught sight of her.
"What?" she asked, stifling a yawn.
"Comfy?"
Lois glanced down at the Smallville High hoodie she had on in lieu of pajamas -- one that extended down to her knees and was probably big enough to fit a second person inside.
She crossed her arms defensively. "Very comfy, actually. Besides, it's freezing outside this morning."
"Fifty degrees isn't freezing, honey."
"You only say that because you're a walking solar battery," she mumbled back, snatching his coffee mug for a sip.
"There's a full pot in the kitchen," he told her with an amused hum.
That was all she needed to hear. She planted a quick kiss on his cheek on her way out of the room, saying, "I'm keeping the sweatshirt, by the way."
"You know, my parents can send you one of those, if you want," Clark called after her. "One that's closer to your size."
Lois popped back through the doorway, refilled mug in hand. "No thanks," she waved off the offer. "I'm keeping this one."
